Chorale is the flagship ensemble of the NHS Choir Program. Led by Mr. Fritz, this ensemble is composed of advanced 10th-12th grade students and performs as the Varsity Mixed Choir. Repertoire includes advanced literature from the choral canon, including Grades 4, 5, and 6 from the PML. Members of this ensemble also make up the Varsity Treble & Tenor-Bass Choirs, who have received invitations to perform at Texas Christian University and Texas Women's University. Additionally, Chorale is a frequent representative of the program in our campus and local community. Chorale members are strongly encouraged to participate in All-State Auditions and Solo & Ensemble Contest.

Led by Mrs. Cox, Texan Singers is primarily made up of 10th - 12th grade singers of all voice parts and performs as the JV Mixed Choir. Repertoire includes intermediate to advanced literature from the choral canon, including Grades 3 & 4 from the PML. Members of this ensemble often represent the program on-campus and in the community. Singers are encouraged to participate in All-State Auditions and Solo & Ensemble Contest.

Led by Mr. Fritz, Cantus is primarily made up of 9th grade and new-to-HS-choir tenors and basses and performs as the JV Tenor-Bass Choir. Repertoire includes beginning and intermediate literature from the choral canon, including Grades 2, 3, & 4 from the PML. Members of this ensemble are encouraged to participate in All-State Auditions, Solo & Ensemble Contest, and the many other events of the Singing Texans Program.

Led by Mrs. Cox, Cantori is primarily made up of 9th grade and new-to-HS-choir treble singers and performs as the JV Treble Choir. Repertoire includes beginning and intermediate literature from the choral canon, including Grades 2, 3, & 4 from the PML. Members of this ensemble are encouraged to participate in All-State Auditions, Solo & Ensemble Contest, and the many other events of the Singing Texans program.

Led by Mr. Fritz, Vox Rubra (Ruby Voice) is a select ensemble of the NHS Choir Program that explores myriad styles of choral music. Members are selected through auditions in May of each school year. Vox regularly represents NHS on-campus and at community events. Members in Vox are required to be concurrently enrolled in Chorale to be in this ensemble. Vox members are required to participate in All-State Auditions and Solo & Ensemble Contest.
